Things to Do in Oahu

The resort Concierge is a good resource for advice, reservations, etc. and can be reached at the Marriott number 808-679-4700.
Note: The Marriott Café sells refillable drink cups for soda, coffee, etc. Although expensive, they can be cost justified over the length of a stay, especially with children.
There is a Keiki Club where guests can borrow boogie boards, floats, etc.
The Marriott rents cabana chairs for a fee; make reservations prior to arrival due to their popularity.
Pearl Harbor:
Arizona Memorial and museum - arrive early and secure your ticket
(free); you will be assigned a time for the trip to the memorial
While waiting for your scheduled time, visit:
The Bowfin (submarine) museum and tour the sub.
The Bowfin gift shop & canteen
Take the bus to Ford Island and visit:
The USS Missouri (surrender signed in 1945 in Tokyo Bay)
The Naval Pacific Air museum at the control tower
Honolulu:
Waikiki Beach - lunch at Duke's is a favorite
Fort DeRussey - museum of the defenses of Pearl Harbor
Ala Moana mall - shopping
Downtown shpping - fabulous high-end stores
The Punch Bowl - cemetery of the Pacific - many Pearl Harbor vistims
Diamond Head –hiking, climbing - and icon of Oahu
Haleiwa:
North shore - interesting town with several good restaurants
Not far to the East is Sunset Beach, the "Banzai Pipeline" surfing Mecca
